As we reach the end of 2025, I like to step back and look at the bigger picture. At Spanish Planet School, success isn't measured only in grades or levels, but in the community we build and the hours of real conversation we share.
A Community in Motion
Throughout this year, I had the pleasure of welcoming 65 different students into our school representing 19 different nationalities. Some stayed with me for the full twelve months, while others joined for a specific season or to work toward a particular goal. This natural flow, including 32 individuals, 13 duos, and 2 groups, is what keeps Spanish Planet School dynamic and alive. We are especially proud that 16 of our students were children, whose curiosity and energy brought something special to every lesson.
Face-to-Face and Beyond
While the world feels more digital every day, the heart of Spanish Planet School remains deeply personal. In 2025, 85% of our 744 sessions were held face-to-face, allowing for the human connection that is so hard to replace. The remaining 15% were held online, where technology helped us stay connected and ensured learning continued, no matter where our students were.
The "Iceberg" of Teaching
To deliver those 744 sessions, there is a lot of work that happens when the books are closed. This year, I've dedicated an estimated 300+ hours to the "invisible" side of the school, preparing personalized materials, managing the complex puzzle of the agenda, and handling the administration that keeps us running smoothly.
Commitment that Counts
The dedication of my students this year truly stood out:
- 600 classes were part of our steady monthly routines.
- 116 sessions were completed as part of intensive packages.
- 28 new students took their first steps with us during intake sessions.
To everyone behind those 65 names this year: thank you!
Whether we met in person or through a screen, you made 2025 a record-breaking year for Spanish Planet School.
¡Hasta el año que viene!
